Cécile Léon
With degrees in English and Chinese (Université Paris VII), and post-graduate studies at Kyoto University, Cécile Léon focuses her professional activity on the art market and Asia, where she lived and worked for many years.
After an experience with several international art dealers in Tokyo and Paris,
she joined the renowned Gallery Didier Aaron & Cie (Paris-London-New York) representing the company in Asia and making a number of important sales,
in particular to Japanese museums. In order to respond efficiently to the requests of other galleries and collectors in both Europe and Asia,
she created an independent structure in 1999.
Since 2004, at the request of French institutions and as part of the
Franco-Chinese Cultural Exchange Program Années Croisées,
she has been instrumental in organizing and managing temporary
exhibitions for museums of the Chinese world.
